multimedia-audio-plugins software package provides Audio processing plugins, synths and virtual instruments, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install multimedia-audio-plugins
multimedia-audio-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the multimedia-audio-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep multimedia-audio-plugins *
You will get with multimedia-audio-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
